Bulk Resin Distribution System
We have recently designed and built a foundry resin delivery system which is easily customized for any foundry binder system. Systems are sized and specified for your exact consumption requirements. We can also add resin heating to close out your process control loop.
We spent many hours designing out complexities in order to provide a simple, robust foundry solution.
Theory of operation
- Liquid level sensors mounted in the top of the receiving tanks trigger a ball valve to open for filling from totes or bulk resin supply.
- When calling for resin, bright blue lights engage to let operators in the area know that the system is calling for resin. If the light stays on, we believe someone will notice.
- Once the receiving tank is refilled, the light(s) go out and the system returns to normal recirculation mode for heating / temperature stabilization. Resin heating is optional. The system can also be configured with start / stop pumps if recirculation is not desired.
