Cold Box Core Machines
Del Sol is excited to announce a new line of cold box core machines designed and built specifically for jobbing cold box operations. These machines were designed from a blank sheet of paper to be simple, heavy-duty, work well…and be cost effective. We believe we have accomplished this.
CB15 Cold Box Core Blower Specifications
- Maximum Nominal Tooling Size 15” x 15” x 15”
- 15# Single Blow
- Vertically Parted with Integral Core Box Clamps is Primary Design
- With clamps fully retracted, loose horizontal or dump box tooling can be run.
- Left hand box clamp location is adjustable with pin placement but non-actuated.
- Right hand box clamp is pneumatically actuated.
- Boxes can be run mounted to the vertical clamping plates or loose.
- Includes amine collection plenum beneath clamping table.
- Includes convenient operator control panel on remote pedestal.

- 50# Single Blow
- Vertically Parted with Integral Core Box Clamps is Primary Design
- With clamps fully extracted, loose horizontal tooling or top blow dump boxes can be run.
- Left hand box clamp is adjustable with pin placement but non-actuated.
- Right hand box clamp is pneumatically actuated.
- Boxes can be run mounted to the vertical clamping plates or loose.
- Includes amine collection plenum beneath and behind clamping table.
- Includes convenient operator control panel on remote pedestal.
- Standard unit features pushbutton controls for all machine functions. Automated cycles are an option.
The standard CB50 comes with a fixed location core box clamping table. We offer an optional push out table that allows for cores and core boxes to be lifted with and overhead hoist without interference from the blow chamber assembly. This feature is ideal for heavy core boxes and heavy cores that are too much for an operator to lift on a normal basis. The view below shows the two position clamping table.
