Del Sol takes a straight forward review approach. We call our approach to foundry review "forest for the trees". For us, we can walk into your foundry, and since we do not live there, we can see process solutions you have been walking past for years. Often, we can help your operation and organization by simply being able to see and analyze the forest because we are not stuck within the trees.
FOUNDRY PROCESS REVIEW
Based on our foundry operational experience, we are able to help you analyze existing processes, finds areas of improvement, and make specific process improvement recommendations to improve your casting quality and process efficiencies.
Particular areas of strength are no bake molding, sand reclamation, induction melt, pouring practice, and finishing operations.
FACILITY SCANNING AND MODELING

Del Sol can laser scan and provide solid modeling of your plant and proposed equipment solutions. We are excited about this capability and the depth it brings to our engineering offering.
Below is a modeled shakeout and sand reclamation system for a proposed solution.
After design work was completed, Del Sol was hired as general contractor for the project. This photo is about two months deep into the project. After demolition and excavation, we installed a fully engineered foundation to support the equipment for the project. This particular job required some very special design due to shallow water tables and the fact that both a river and railroad track bound the property.
Next, the designed solution is installed by our rigging crews.
