Foundry Compaction Table
Del Sol’s compaction tables are designed for ease of use and rugged durability. Our standard design features a single force output that is sized for the largest box to be run. The operator pushes and holds a table lift button and pushes and holds the vibrate button separately. Once compaction starts, as soon as the sand drops, the vibrate button is released. The idea is to throw a lot of force at the sand for a very short time. This method assures that we have plenty of force available for the process, and that the process is stopped by the operator as soon as the sand is compacted. This prevents over ramming and ram off due to preset cycle times that could be too long.
